Providing psychotherapeutic support for adolescents and adults (neurodivergent and non-neurodivergent). My commitment is to work collaboratively with people addressing their concerns and/or issues, support them to build a strong sense of identity, capitalising on their strengths and differences, and finding ways of living and relating that foster an authentic and equanimous way of living.

I also provide affirming Autism (including ADHD screening, if relevant) and cognitive profile assessments for school age children, adolescents and adults.

Telehealth refers to online video sessions where you can access mental health support remotely, using a computer or smartphone, without the need for face-to-face appointments.

Many clients find that the online video sessions provide the same level of connection, engagement, and support as in-person consultations.

Yes, if you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan & referral from your GP or Psychiatrist, you can qualify for Medicare rebates of up to $93.35 for 10 sessions per calendar year. Also, if you have private health insurance, you might be eligible for additional rebates. It’s best to check with your fund about your specific entitlements.

No, you do not need a referral. You can book an appointment with a psychologist without a referral from your GP or a psychiatrist. If you decide to do this you will need to pay the full amount for your sessions out of your own pocket.

The first session typically begins with the psychologist going over important paperwork, including personal information and consent forms covering confidentiality, fees, and session details. If referred by a GP or psychiatrist, the details of the Mental Health Treatment Plan are discussed. The remaining session time is dedicated to discussing the issues prompting therapy, delving into background history such as family, social relationships, work history, and past counseling. The psychologist aims to gain a thorough understanding of the concerns and collaboratively develops a flexible plan for future therapy sessions if time allows.
